Canine Companions at UConn

Here at Canine Companions, UConn students are able to train, raise, support, and fundraise for service dogs, enriching the lives of many along the way!
We are supported and partners with Canine Companions, a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained service dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.

Join our HuskyThon team!
This is an amazing oppurtunity to not only support the HuskyThon cause, but be closely involved with more Canine Companions at UConn members!

The Story Behind Our College Club
Inspired by Officers Tildy and Carson, we decided to start an outreach club that supports the national organization Canine Companions. CC has created a wonderful program, where service dogs can receive proper training and care until they are ready to be rehoused to a person in need. For this club, we hope to raise awareness about service dogs, inspire those to raise their own service dog, as well as volunteer for the campus service dogs!
